Beginning with the ordinary activity of unwrapping a gift EE quickly makes a departure from the mundane to an embodied lexicon of attack and decay. EE operates as a visceral, crackling assemblage that rejects pervasive mind-body dualities and follows the bodymind’s own raison d’etre. EE invites the viewer to encounter dance as an imaginative, non-narrative mode of expression set to a sound score of "coffee or tea? interviews," a disco anthem, and Schubert's Winterreise.
