Pull it Down/Smear it is a keyhole view into an attempt to levitate matching potted plants on site. It is also a meditation on shifting color and form. By imposing a scale; of placement, time and tone, this duality of elements is shaped into an architectural structure in the studio by the dancers. Revisiting the work with a similar systematic and rhythmic editing formula, the potted plants are successfully lifted. (SM)
